Removing
1. Remove the glove box door.
2. Remove the servo.
- A) Disconnect the connector.
- b) Loosen the two screws and remove the drive.
Examination
1. Check the operation of the servo.
- A) Connect the battery to the terminals "6" (+) And "7" (-) connector. Check that the lever moves to the position "COOL",
- b) Reverse the polarity of the power, check that the lever moves to the "HOT" position".
2. Check the operation of the damper control lever position sensor.
- A) Measure resistance between leads "1" And "3". Resistance is about 6 kOhm.
- b) Check that the resistance between the terminals "3" And "5" changes from 4.8 kΩ to 1.2 kΩ when the lever is moved from the '' COOL position" into position "NOT".
