1. Check the amount of refrigerant.

2. Install the pressure gauge block.

3. Start the engine.

4. Set the idle speed to 1500 rpm and let the engine run for approximately 5 minutes.

6. Check that the high pressure gauge readings are in the range of 1.37-1.53 MPa.

7. If the expansion valve is faulty, the pressure in the low pressure line will drop to 0 kPa.

Note: When the pressure in the low pressure line drops to zero, there is no temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the receiver.
