1. Removal of air from the fuel system.
If you run out of fuel and the engine stalls, the engine may not start after refuelling. In this case, pump fuel with the manual priming pump until you feel more resistance.
2. If the indicator lights up and the audible alarm sounds for the presence of water in the fuel filter
- A) Place a small pan under the drain plug or drain hose to collect water.
- b) Turn the drain plug counterclockwise about 2 to 2.5 turns. (More loosening will cause water to flow around the circumference of the drain plug).
- V) Pump up fuel with the manual priming pump until fuel starts to flow out.
- G) After draining the water, tighten the drain plug by hand.
Caution: Do not use a tool when tightening the drain plug.
