- general locksmith tools,
- torque wrench with ½ inch socket,
- fresh engine oil
- sealant,
- compound for locking threaded connections.
2. If you purchased an incomplete cylinder block, you will need to install the cylinder head, oil pump and oil pickup pipe, oil pan, coolant pump, timing belt/chain and timing cover, and cylinder head cover (see chapter 2A or 2B). To save time and avoid unnecessary problems, it is recommended to assemble the engine in the following general sequence:
- thermostat and thermostat housing cover,
- coolant pump,
- intake and exhaust manifolds,
- elements of the fuel injection system,
- elements related to emission reduction systems,
- spark plug,
- ignition coils,
- oil filter,
- engine mounts and support brackets,
- flywheel and clutch (manual transmission in a block with a drive axle),
- faceplate (automatic transmission in a block with a driving axle).
