Removing
Removal in the following order:
- turn off the ignition and disconnect the wire «masses» from the storage battery;
- remove the accessory drive belt;
- tighten the parking brake and block the rear wheels with stops;
- Loosen the right front wheel nuts. Raise the front of the car and place it on stands. Remove the right front wheel and the right front wheel arch mudguard;

- install a special device on the pulley / vibration damper that fixes it from turning, and use a socket wrench with a large shoulder to unscrew the central bolt (pic. 3.85);
- screw the central bolt a few turns of thread and remove the pulley / vibration damper from the crankshaft with a puller. Turn out the central bolt and remove a pulley/vibration damper from the car.
Attention! Do not use a puller whose jaws are mounted on the outer surface of the pulley/vibration damper, as this will damage it.
Installation
Install in the following order:

- manually install the pulley/vibration damper as far as possible on the engine crankshaft, while aligning the keyway on the pulley with the crankshaft key (pic. 3.86);
- install a special device on the pulley / vibration damper that fixes it from turning, and with a socket wrench with a large shoulder, screw in the central bolt and tighten it with a torque of 170 Nm.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
