1. Checking the heater relay.
  • a) Check for constant conductivity between terminals "1" and "3".
  • b) Check for constant conductivity between terminals "2" and "4".


  • c) Check for conductivity only between terminals "4" and "5" of the relay when applying battery voltage to terminals "1" and "3".

2. Checking the electromagnetic clutch relay.
  • a) Check for constant conductivity between terminals "1" and "2".

3. Check fan relay #1.


  • a) Check for constant conductivity between terminals "1" and "2".
  • b) Check for constant conductivity between terminals "3" and "4".
  • c) Check for conductivity only between terminals "3" and "4" of the relay when applying battery voltage to terminals "1" and "2".

4. Checking fan relay #2.


  • a) Check for constant conductivity between terminals "1" and "2".
  • b) Check for constant conductivity between terminals "3" and "4".


  • c) Check for conductivity only between terminals "3" and "5" of the relay when applying battery voltage to terminals "1" and "2".

5. Checking fan relay No.3 is done in the same way as checking the electromagnetic clutch relay.
