Removal and installation of a turbocharger: 1 - heat shield No. 2, 2 - heat shield No. 1, 3 - outlet pipe, 4 - turbocharger assembly, 5 - actuator, 6 • air hose, 7 - coolant supply pipes, 8 - cooling system hoses, 9 - oil drain hose, 10 - oil pipes, 11 - gasket, 12 - gasket, 13 - bracket, 14 - turbocharger bracket, 15 - outlet pipe, 16 - gasket, 17 - exhaust manifold heat shield #2, 18 - heat shield #1
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Disconnect the air tube.
3. Remove thermal insulators.
(Modifications)
- A) Remove 4 bolts, nut and heat shield N41.
- b) Remove two bolts and remove heat shield #2.
(serial version)
- A) Loosen the two bolts and remove the heat shield #1.
- b) Unscrew the bolt, nut and remove the heat shield No. 1
- V) Loosen the two bolts and remove the #2 exhaust manifold heat shield.
5. Remove the turbocharger bracket by removing the three bolts.
6. Remove the three bolts and remove the exhaust manifold bracket.
7. Remove the outlet pipe by unscrewing the four bolts.
8. Remove the turbocharger assembly,
- A) Disconnect the following hoses from the tubes: (1) - two coolant supply hoses; (2) - oil drain hose.
- b) Loosen the nut securing the oil pipe bracket to the cylinder block.
- V) Remove the bypass bolt securing the oil pipe to the oil filter bracket.
- G) Remove the four nuts, remove the turbocharger assembly and gasket.
6. Turn away two nuts, disconnect oil tubes and remove a lining.
9. Turn away two nuts, disconnect tubes of giving of a cooling liquid and remove a lining.
10. Turn away two bolts and remove a cover of the holder of the bearing of a turbocharger.
