Unscrew the valve handle on the charging kit and connect the kit to the air conditioning system, having previously checked the condition of the sealing rings and threads on which the charging kit is screwed.
Remove the dust cap from the duct on the low pressure side of the air conditioning system and quickly connect the charging kit hose fitting.
Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature. Turn on the air conditioning system to the maximum air cooling mode. Keep the charge kit hose as far away from radiator fan blades and other rotating engine parts as possible. Charging the system can only take place when the air conditioning compressor is running.
Turn the valve knob on the kit, the rod should pierce the cylinder, then release the knob, and the refrigerant should begin to hiss out into the air conditioning system. When refueling, hold the can upright and do not tilt or move it. To speed up the charging process, you can wrap the cylinder with a clean rag soaked in hot water.
Insert the thermometer into the central ventilation grilles of the instrument panel when the air conditioning system is operating in the maximum cooling mode - the temperature shown by the thermometer should be 15-20°C lower than the air temperature in the car.
When all the refrigerant is out of the cylinder, close the valve handle and disconnect the hose from the charging port. Install a new dust cap.
Attention! Never add more than two bottles of refrigerant to an air conditioning system.
