Button "AUTO"
To automatically operate the air conditioner, press the button "AUTO". The indicator light will illuminate to indicate that the automatic mode of operation has been selected.
In auto mode, the air conditioner selects the most appropriate fan speed and airflow according to the temperature.
You can use the manual controls if you want to choose your own settings.
To turn off automatic operation, press the button "OFF".
Fan speed controller
Push button side ">" (increase) or "<" (decrease) to adjust the fan speed. During automatic operation, you do not need to adjust the speed unless you wish to select a different fan speed mode.
Temperature regulator
Turn the knob to adjust the temperature: to the right to increase the temperature, to the left to decrease.
Button "OFF"
Press the button to turn off the air conditioner.
Button "MODE" (Air flow regulator)
Click the button "MODE" to select the vents used for airflow.
During automatic operation, you do not need to select the airflow unless you wish to select a different airflow mode.
1. Dashboard - Air is supplied primarily from the instrument panel vents.
2. Two Level - Air is supplied from the floor level vents and from the instrument panel vents.
3. At floor level - air is supplied mainly from floor level vents.
4. Floor/Windshield - Air is supplied primarily from the vents at floor level and onto the windshield.
Airflow button on the windshield
When this button is pressed, air is supplied mainly from the vents to the windshield. Pressing the button again returns the airflow mode to the one used before.
Pressing the airflow button on the windshield activates the air conditioner linked to the defroster. At this time, the button indicator "A/C" turns on when the air inlet control is set to circulate mode, regardless of whether the button is pressed "A/C" or not. This is the fastest way to clear the front view.
When the button is pressed "A/C", pressing another airflow button turns off the air conditioner.
Air intake regulator
Press the button to eject the air source.
1. Circulation - air circulates inside the car.
2. Fresh air - outside air is supplied to the system.
Button "A/C"
To turn on the air conditioner, press the button "A/C". Button indicator "A/C" will be enabled. To turn off the air conditioner, press this button again.
If the indicator on the button "A/C" flashes, it means there is a problem in the air conditioning system and the air conditioner will automatically turn off. If this happens, take the vehicle to a Toyota dealer for service.
