"AUTO" button



To operate the air conditioner automatically, press the "AUTO" button. The indicator light will light up to indicate that the automatic operation mode has been selected.

In automatic operation mode, the air conditioner selects the most appropriate fan speed and air flow depending on the temperature.

You can use manual controls if you want to choose your own settings.

To turn off automatic operation, press the "OFF" button.

Fan speed controller



Press the side of the button ">" (increase) or "<" (decrease) to adjust the fan speed. During automatic operation, there is no need to adjust the speed unless you want to select a different fan speed mode.

Temperature controller



Turn the knob to adjust the temperature: to the right to increase the temperature, to the left to decrease it.

"OFF" button



Press the button to turn off the air conditioner.

"MODE" button (Air flow regulator)





Press the "MODE" button to select the vents used for air flow.



During automatic operation, there is no need to select an airflow unless you wish to select a different airflow mode.

1. Panel – Air is supplied mainly from the instrument panel vents.

2. Two levels – air is supplied from the floor level vents and from the dashboard vents.

3. Floor level – air is supplied mainly from ventilation openings at floor level.

4. Floor level/windshield – Air is supplied primarily from the floor level vents and to the windshield.

Windshield Air Flow Button





When this button is pressed, air is directed primarily from the vents to the windshield. Pressing the button again returns the air flow mode to the one previously used.

Pressing the windshield air flow button turns on the air conditioner linked to the defroster. At this time, the "A/C" button indicator will turn on when the air intake control is set to recirculation mode, regardless of whether the "A/C" button is pressed or not. This is the fastest way to clear the front view.

When the "A/C" button is pressed, pressing another air flow button turns off the air conditioner.



Air intake regulator





Press the button to release the air source.

1. Circulation – air circulates inside the car.

2. Fresh air – outside air is supplied to the system.

"A/C" button



To turn on the air conditioner, press the "A/C" button. The indicator on the "A/C" button will be on. To turn off the air conditioner, press the button again.

If the indicator on the "A/C" button flashes, it means there is a problem with the air conditioning system and the air conditioner will automatically turn off. If this happens, take the vehicle to a Toyota dealer for service.
