1. Check the target of the system with the connectors connected.
- a) Remove the ABS control unit.
- b) Using a voltmeter with high input resistance (minimum 10 kOhm/V), measure the voltage between each terminal and ground. If the circuit does not meet the requirements, use the table to find and eliminate the faults.
2. Checking the system target with the connectors disconnected.
- a) Disconnect the connectors from the electronic control unit, check the circuit from the wire side. If the circuit does not meet the requirements, then, using the table, find and eliminate the faults.
- b) Connect the connectors and install the electronic control unit in place.
