Checking the control relay
1. Checking the conductivity of the electric pump relay.
- A) Check for continuity between terminals "9" and ''10".
- b) Check for continuity between terminals "7" And "8".
If the conditions are not met, replace the relay.
2. Checking the operation of the electric pump relay.
- A) Connect the battery to the terminals "10" (+) And "9" (-).
- b) Check for continuity between terminals "7" And "8".
If the relay does not work as described, replace the relay.
3. Checking the solenoid valve relay.
- A) Check for continuity between terminals "1" And "9".
- b) Check for continuity between terminals "2" And "5".
- V) Connect the positive lead of an ohmmeter to the "4", and the negative conclusion - to the conclusion "5".
- G) Check for continuity between the terminals.
- d) Reverse the polarity of the ohmmeter connection Check for continuity between the terminals.
If the relay does not work as described, replace the relay.
Note: for various types of ohmmeters, conductivity is available in step (d) and missing on the step (G).
4. Checking the operation of the solenoid valve relay.
- A) Connect the battery to the terminals "1" (+) And "9" (-).
- b) Check for continuity between terminals "2'' and "5".
- V) Check for continuity between terminals "2" And "6".
- G) If the operation is not as described, replace the relay.
