Note: the term 'reinforced suspension'" indicates the suspension of vehicles equipped with "package for bad roads".
1. Check tire wear and cold tire pressure.
2. Check up an axial backlash of bearings of naves.
3. Check wheel runout. Runout:
- Models up to '96: less than 3.0 mm
- Models since '96: less than 1.0 mm
4. Check up reliability of fastening of details of a suspension bracket.
5. Check up a condition of steering drafts.
6. Check up correct work of shock-absorbers.
7. Measure the installation height of the vehicle.
Note:
- Front Suspension: Measure from the ground to the center of the front lower arm mounting bolt.
- Rear Suspension: Measure the distance from the ground to the center of the trailing arm mounting bolt. Before carrying out a wheel alignment check, the installation height must be adjusted in accordance with established standards. If the installation height does not meet the established standards, then you should try to correct it by pushing the body down or lifting the body up.
