Note: the procedure for replacing the working fluid in automatic transmission, see chapter "Maintenance and general inspection and adjustment procedures".
Checking and adjusting the automatic transmission control cable
1. When switching the selector from the position "N" to other positions, check that the selector moves evenly and that the indicator indicates the selected position correctly. If the indicator does not show the selected position correctly, then adjust.
2. Loosen the automatic transmission control cable nut.
3. Move the start inhibit switch lever all the way to the "R".
4. Return the start inhibit switch lever two notches to the "N".
5. Set the selector to position 'N".
6. Pushing the lever towards the position "R", tighten the control cable nut.
- Tightening torque - 7 -10 Nm
7. Start the engine and make sure that the car moves forward in the selector positions from "N" before "D" and back - in position "R".
Installing and Adjusting the Throttle Control Cable
1. Install the retainer and connect the throttle control cable.
2. Tighten the sheath of the valve control cable - throttle.
3. Rotate the sheath clockwise and secure the cable.
4. Tighten the nut and adjust the cable tension by loosening the locknut and turning the adjusting nut.
Check and adjustment of the switch of prohibition of start of the engine
1. Depress the brake pedal and turn the ignition key to the "ON".
2. Make sure the engine can only be started within the range of the selector "N" or "R".
3. Set selector to range "R" and make sure that the reverse lights with the corresponding indicator on the instrument panel come on.
4. In the event of a malfunction, check that the selector is in continuous position and make adjustments.
5. Set the selector lever to position "N".
6. Turn away a nut and remove draft of management of a transmission.
- Tightening torque - 15 - 22 Nm
7. Turn away a nut and remove a persistent washer and the lever of the switch of prohibition of start of the engine.
- Tightening torque - 10 -16 Nm
8. Adjust switch position:
A) Loosen the stopper and unscrew the nut.
b) Align the groove and the neutral baseline.
V) While holding the parts in this position, tighten the bolts.
- Tightening torque - 7 -10 N.m
