2. Check bearing end play and hub runout.
- A) Loosen the two bolts and remove the caliper assembly.
- b) Hang the caliper assembly on the wire.
- V) Remove the brake disc.
- G) Use a dial gauge to check the bearing end play. The maximum clearance is 0.08 mm. If the bearing clearance exceeds the specified value, replace the bearing.
- d) Using a dial gauge, check the hub runout. Maximum runout 0.07 mm. If the runout is greater than the specified value, replace the hub.
3. Loosen the locknut.
- A) Install disc and caliper assembly.
- b) Remove cotter pin and locknut cap.
- V) Loosen the locknut with the brake pedal depressed and unscrew it.
- G) Remove the caliper assembly and disc.
4. (For vehicles with ABS) Remove the speed sensor (ABS). Loosen the sensor mounting bolt and remove the clamp.
5. Loosen the nuts on the bottom of the stand.
Note: Do not remove bolts.
6. Disconnect the tie rod end.
- A) Remove the cotter pin and unscrew the nut.
- b) Using a puller, disconnect the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
7. Turn away a bolt and two nuts and disconnect the lower spherical support from the lower lever.
8. Remove a rotary fist in gathering with a nave.
- A) Remove the nuts and bolts from the underside of the shock absorber strut.
- b) Remove the steering knuckle with the hub.
