The electronic control unit monitors the temperature of the working fluid using a temperature sensor. The temperature of the working fluid may become excessively high when the vehicle is operated under increased load, such as when driving on sand or on an incline. In the event of an increase in temperature to a level of 150°C and above, the control unit turns on an indicator located in the instrument cluster. The indicator goes out when the temperature drops below 120*C.
