b) Instead of the fuse, connect a test lamp.
c) Create conditions under which the indicator lamp should light.
Example:
A - ignition on.
B - ignition and switch No.1 (SW1) are on.
C - ignition, switch #1 and relay on (connect the relay), and switch #2 is off (or disconnected).
d) Disconnect and connect the wiring connectors while observing the test lamp.
The short circuit is located in the section of the circuit between the connector where the indicator lamp lights and the connector where the lamp goes out.
d) Pinpoint the location of the short circuit by pulling the suspected wire along its entire length along the body.
