A) Remove the blown fuse and disconnect all consumers of the circuit protected by it.
b) Connect a test lamp instead of a fuse.
V) Create the conditions under which the control lamp should light up.
Example:
A - the ignition is on.
B - ignition and switch No. 1 (SW1) included.
C - ignition, switch No. 1 and relay on (connect relay), and switch #2 is off (or disconnected).
G) Disconnect and connect wiring connectors while watching the test lamp.
The short circuit is in the section of the circuit lying between the connector where the control lamp is on and the connector where the lamp goes out.
d) Pinpoint the location of the short by tugging on the suspect wire all the way along the body.
