Normal startup process (with a cold engine)
1. Set the transmission lever to the idle position and keep the clutch pedal depressed until the engine starts.
2. Turn the ignition key to position «ON» and check that the preheat indicator light comes on.
3. Fully depress the pedal «gas».
4. When the preheat indicator light goes out, start the engine by turning the ignition key to the «START». After the engine starts, release the key and pedal «gas». Do not keep the starter running continuously for more than 30 seconds.
5. After the engine has been running for about 10 seconds, you can start driving. Remember that a cold engine cannot be operated at high speeds.
With a warm engine
Half depress the pedal «gas» and start the engine. If it starts, release the pedal. If the engine does not start, follow the above procedure.
