Apply soapy water to the nipple. If a bubble forms, screw the nipple with the protective cap upside down.
Caution: Only the protective cap may be used to tighten the nipple.
Check the nipple again. If bubbles form again or the nipple can no longer be screwed on, it must be replaced.
Replace the protective cap.
