Crankcase ventilation valve
1. The side facing the cylinder head
2. Clean hose
The valve is located on the valve cover.
1. Start and warm up the engine.
2. Close the valve with your finger. If there is no vacuum, check for a clogged hose, a hole in the intake manifold, or the valve itself.
3. Turn off the engine.
4. Disconnect the valve from the hose and blow through the valve from the side where it is installed in the cylinder head. Check that air passes through the valve.
5. If air does not flow in this direction, replace the valve.
