- A) Install the vacuum booster and a new gasket.
- b) Install and tighten the vacuum booster mounting nuts. Tightening torque 13 Nm.
- V) Install the fork axle into the fork and brake carrier and install the cotter pin into the fork axle.
- G) Install the brake pedal return spring.
2. Adjust the length of the vacuum booster rod.
- A) Install a new gasket on the brake master cylinder.
- b) Place the adjuster on the shim, and then lower the adjusting screw until it lightly touches the piston.
- V) Turn the adjuster over and install it on the vacuum booster.
- G) Measure the gap between the end of the vacuum booster rod and the head of the adjusting screw. Gap 0 mm.
- d) If the gap is not as specified, adjust the booster rod length.
3. (Models since 96) Install the clutch master cylinder.
4. Establish the main brake cylinder.
5. Connect a vacuum hose to the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
6. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid and bleed the brake system.
7. Check for leaks.
8. Check and adjust the brake pedal.
