Removal and installation



Note:
  • When removing, refer to the "Clutch pedal" figure.
  • When installing, perform the steps in reverse order of removal.


Checking and adjusting the clutch pedal



1. Check the height of the clutch pedal from the floor.
  • Pedal height - 168-178 mm

2. Adjust the pedal height if necessary.

a) Loosen the lock nut. Adjust the pedal height by turning the adjusting bolt.

b) Tighten the lock nut.

3. Check the pedal free play by pressing the pedal until resistance appears.

a) Disconnect the clutch fork lever.

b) Remove the clutch cover and spring.

c) Adjust the pedal cable tension by turning the adjusting bolt.
  • Pedal free travel is 10-30 mm

1 - clutch release cable,
2 - lock nut,
3 - clutch pedal axle,
4 - clutch pedal,
5 - spring,
6 - bushing,
7 - stroke limiter,
8 - clutch pedal cover.


4. Check the clutch release moment.



a) Apply the parking brake and let the engine idle.

b) While pressing the brake pedal, engage first gear. Gradually release the clutch pedal. Measure the distance between the pedal and the floor before the moment of engagement.
  • Nominal distance - not less than 20 mm
