Removal and installation
Note:
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- When installing, refer to the assembly drawing "Clutch release cable".
Clutch release cable.
1 - bracket,
2 - nut,
3 - clamp bracket,
4 - clutch release cable.
1. Loosen the nut and remove the clutch release cable together with the bracket.
2. Disconnect the clutch release cable from the bracket as shown in the figure.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the cable when disconnecting.
3. Unscrew the nut, bend the holder as shown in the figure and remove the cable from the engine compartment shield.
Examination
1. Make sure the cable moves freely in the sheath.
2. Check the clutch release cable for damage and deformation (pay special attention to the places shown in the picture).
Note: If the cable is damaged, replace it.
3. Check the cable mounting bracket for damage.
4. Check the specified distances of the clutch release cable.
- Nominal distance (A + B) - 112- 116 mm
