- Transmission oil specification AP1 GL-5 SAE 75W-90 or 80W-90 (petrol engines), ATF Dexron-II (diesel engines).
Examination
Place the car horizontally on the lift.
If there are engine and gearbox covers, remove them.
Check the gearbox for leaks.
Unscrew the filler plug on the front side (in the direction of movement) gearbox housing.
The oil level should be at the height of the oil filler hole or no more than 5 mm below. Otherwise, add oil.
Screw in the filler plug.
Install the engine and gearbox covers.
Remove the car from the lift.
