Checking the heating system
Check the glow plug indicator light time.
Turn the starter switch to the "ON" position and measure the indicator light duration.
- Glow time: approximately 5 seconds.
Checking devices and instruments
Spark plug regulator. Check the regulator electrical circuit.
Location for vehicles: Under the instrument cluster on the passenger side. Disconnect the connector from the regulator and check the circuits on the wiring side as follows. (see table on page 95).
