The three controls are very easy to operate:
- The air separation regulator serves to direct the air in the desired direction (into the instrument panel ventilation grilles or onto the windshield).
- The air flow regulator is used to select between fresh air from outside and air circulation inside the vehicle.
- The fan controller is used to turn the fan on and off and select one of four operating speeds.
Ventilation and defogging of glass
- Set the air flow regulator to the "FRESH" position.
- Set the air separation regulator for ventilation to the "VENT" position, and to eliminate fogging of the windshield, to the "DEF" position.
- Turn on the fan control if you want additional fresh air.
Practical instructions for use
- Make sure that the air intake grille in front of the windshield is not clogged with leaves or other objects.
- When driving on dusty streets, set the air flow regulator to the "RECIRC" position to reduce the flow of outside air.
