Checking the electro-pneumatic valve
1. Remove the electro-pneumatic valve.
2. Using an ohmmeter, verify that there is no open circuit in the valve winding by measuring its electrical resistance.
- Rated resistance (at 20°С) — 33-39 Ohm
Otherwise, replace the valve.
3. Using an ohmmeter, one wire of which is alternately connected to the terminals of the valve connector, and the other to the valve body, make sure that the valve winding is not shorted to the body ("mass").
If the ohmmeter registers any resistance other than infinity, then replace the valve.
4. Check valve operation:
A) Make sure no air is leaking from the hole "E" into the hole "F" through the valve.
b) Apply voltage from the battery to the valve connector terminals.
V) Make sure air passes through the valve from the hole "E" to the hole "F".
If the valve does not work properly, then replace the valve.
5. Reinstall the valve.
Checking the pneumodiode
1. Apply a vacuum of 500 mmHg. Art. to the hole "A" air diode and check that the vacuum does not decrease within a minute.
2. Apply a vacuum to the hole "IN" and make sure it falls.
Checking the vacuum reservoir
1. Apply a vacuum of 500 mmHg. Art. to the hole "A" air diode and check that the vacuum does not decrease within a minute.
2. Apply a vacuum to the hole "IN" and make sure it falls.
