2. Install the rear injection pump bracket.
3. Install injection pump:
- A) Align the alignment marks on the high pressure fuel pump and the coolant pump.
- b) Temporarily tighten the injection pump mounting bolt and nuts.
Note: Finally tighten the injection pump bolt and nuts to the specified torque after setting the injection advance angle.
4. Install the injection pump drive shaft pulley.
5. Measure and adjust injection advance angle (see chapter "Maintenance and general inspection and adjustment procedures").
6. Install high pressure fuel lines.
7. Install the heater tube bracket bolt and nut.
8. Connect the following hoses:
- A) Vacuum hose for the high idle system when the air conditioner or heater is turned on
- b) Air supply hose to boost pressure corrector
- V) Bypass hoses N «1 and No. 2 cooling systems.
- G) Fuel inlet and outlet hoses.
9. Connect the fuel cut solenoid valve connector.
10. (Models with automatic transmission) Connect the cable from the automatic transmission control lever to the injection pump.
11. Connect the drive cable to the injection pump control lever.
12. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.
13. Pump fuel into the injection pump with a booster pump until you feel resistance.
14. Remove air from nozzles.
- A) Loosen the high pressure fuel line union nuts on the injector side.
- b) Crank the engine to remove air until clean fuel comes out of the fuel pipe.
15. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
16. Check the minimum idle speed and maximum speed (see chapter "Maintenance and general inspection and adjustment procedures").
17. Check the coolant level again.
