Installing a fuel pump [Toyota Corona T190]

1. Install the fuel pump and fuel level sensor assembly.
  • a) Install a new gasket on the fuel pump bracket.
  • b) Install the fuel pump and fuel level sensor assembly and tighten the eight bolts.
  • c) Connect the following connectors:
    • Fuel pump and fuel level sensor connector;
    • Fuel drain pipe;
    • Fuel return hose.



2. Connect the cable to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.

3. Check for fuel leaks by running the engine for 2-3 minutes.

4. Install the service hatch cover by tightening the five screws.
  • a) (Type A) Tighten 5 screws and install the service hatch cover.
  • b) (Type B) Connect the wire harness, tighten the 5 screws and install the service hatch cover.



5. Install the rear seat cushion.
