Oil pump: 1 - crankshaft front oil seal, 2 - driven rotor, 3 - drive rotor, 4 - pump housing, 5 - pump cover, 6 - pressure reducing valve, 7 - pressure reducing valve spring, 8 - spring seat, 9 - circlip, 10 - oil pump seal, 11 - gasket
1. Drain the engine oil.
2. Remove the timing belt. See section "timing belt".
Note: Remove the camshaft pulleys only if necessary.
3. (2C, 2C-T, 3S-FE, 3S-GE, 4S-FE, 5E-FE) Remove the oil pump sprocket and crankshaft.
4. Remove the dipstick and guide.
5. Remove the oil pan, oil pickup, oil damper and gasket (see section "Cylinder block").
6. Remove the oil pump by unscrewing the bolts.
