
Oil pump: 1 - front crankshaft oil seal, 2 - slave rotor, 3 - leading rotor, 4 - pump housing, 5 - pump cover, 6 - pressure reducing valve, 7 - pressure reducing valve spring, 8 - spring seat, 9 - retaining ring, 10 - oil pump oil seal, 11 - gasket
1. Drain the oil from the engine.
2. Remove the timing belt. See section "Timing belt".
Note: Remove the camshaft sprockets only if necessary.

3. (2S, 2S-T, 3S-FE, 3S-GE, 4S-FE, 5E-FE) Remove the oil pump and crankshaft toothed pulley.
4. Remove the oil dipstick and guide.
5. Remove the oil pan, oil pickup, oil separator and gasket (see section "Cylinder block").
6. Remove the oil pump by unscrewing the bolts.
