Attention! It is recommended to change the oil pump every time the oil pan is removed.
Attention! Before making a final conclusion, check the oil pressure in the lubrication system.
Removal
1. Remove the tray.
2. Unscrew the 2 pump mounting bolts.
3. Remove the pump with the oil receiver.
4. If the pump is faulty, replace it. This unit cannot be repaired.
Installation
1. Turn the pump shaft so that the shaft groove (1) matches the spline of the distributor shaft tail (2). The pump should slide into place without difficulty. If the pump does not slide in, remove it and turn it until the groove matches the spline.
2. Then assembly is performed in reverse order. Fill and start the engine, make sure there are no leaks.
