2. When disassembling, place the parts in the correct order to facilitate reassembly.
3. Observe the following rules:
A) Before working on electrical equipment, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
b) If it is necessary to disconnect the battery for a check or repair, be sure to disconnect the cable from the negative battery first (-) terminal that is connected to the car body.
V) When carrying out welding work, disconnect the battery and the connectors of the electronic control unit.
4. Check the reliability and correct fastening of the couplings and fittings of hoses and wire connectors.
5. Parts not to be reused.
A) The manufacturer recommends replacing split pins, gaskets, o-rings, oil seals, etc. for new ones.
b) Parts that can not be reused are marked in the figures with the icon "".
6. Before carrying out work in the spray booth, disconnect and remove the battery and the electronic control unit from the vehicle.
7. If necessary, sealant should be applied to the gaskets to prevent leakage.
8. Carefully follow all specifications regarding tightening torques for threaded connections. Be sure to use a torque wrench.
9. Depending on the nature of the repair being made, it may be necessary to use special materials and special tools for maintenance and repair.
10. When replacing blown fuses, make sure that the new fuse has the correct amperage rating. Do not exceed this current rating or insert a lower rating fuse.
11. Appropriate precautions must be observed when jacking up the vehicle and placing it on jack stands. It is necessary to ensure that the lifting of the car and the installation of supports under it are carried out in the places intended for this.
A) If the vehicle is to be jacked up only at the front or rear, it must be ensured that the wheels of the opposite axle are securely locked in order to ensure safety.
b) Immediately after jacking up the car, be sure to place it on stands. It is extremely dangerous to carry out any work on a car hung out on only one jack.
Attention:
- Prolonged and often repeated contact of oil with the skin causes dryness, irritation and dermatitis, and in some cases, used oil can cause skin cancer.
- When changing the oil, it is recommended to use oil-resistant gloves to avoid contact with it. When washing your hands, use soap and water, do not use gasoline, washes and solvents.
- Waste oil and used filters must be collected in specially prepared containers.
