Removal
Disconnect the ground (-) cable from the battery.
Note: This will erase the entries in the trip computer memory. In particular, the fault entry and the radio receiver code. Before disconnecting the battery, read the section "Removal and installation the battery".
Remove the steering wheel.

Remove the screws securing the steering wheel trim cover from below.

Loosen the mounting bolts.
Disconnect the plug connection from the switch.
Remove both switches from the steering column.
Disassembly

Remove the screws securing the corresponding switches and shift levers.

Use a screwdriver to lift up the terminal covers on the plug connector.
Disconnect the switch wires, subject to replacement.
Insert the switch wires into the connector.

If a new light switch lever is being installed, set the lever to the high beam position and secure the ball mounting bar with two screws.
Check the ease of switching the shift lever.
Installation
Connect the plug connector.
Install and secure the switch.
Install and secure the steering wheel shaft cover with screws.
Install the steering wheel.
Connect the ground (-) cable to the battery.
Set the time on the clock, if there is one. Enter the code into the radio receiver.
Check the operation of the sound signal.
