- A) Disconnect the connector from the test lamp and ground the connector on the wire side.
- b) Turn on the ignition. Check that the control lamp lights up. If the test lamp does not light, then check the lamp and wiring.
2. Checking the emergency oil pressure sensor
- A) Check for continuity between the terminal and ground with the engine off.
- b) Check for continuity between the terminal and ground with the engine running.
Note: oil pressure must be over 39 kPa (for models after 1996 more than 19.6±4.9 kPa). If operation differs from description, replace sensor.
