Removal and installation of differential: 1, 8 - rear drive shaft, 2, 5 - gasket, 3 - differential, 4 - drain plug, 6 - filler plug, 7 - cardan shaft
Differential: 1, 5 - washer, 2, 6 - output shaft side bearing, 3 - differential cup, 4 - stop plate, 7 - side bearing cap, B - differential housing cover, 9, 23 - oil seal, 10 - circlip, 11, 28 - output shaft, 12, 24 - boot, 13, 21 - gasket, 14 - drain plug, 15 - bearing spacer, 16 - front bearing, 17, 27 - oil deflector, 18 - oil seal, 19 - boot, 20 - connecting flange, 22—filler plug, 25—retaining ring, 26—differential housing, 29—rear bearing, 30—lamellar washer, 31—drive gear, 32—thrust washer, 33—pin, 34—pinion axle, 35—thrust washer, 36 - satellite, 37 - side gear, 38 - driven gear
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
1. Drain the oil from the differential case.
2. Disconnect the cardan shaft from the differential.
3. Disconnect the drive shafts from the differential.
Note: Secure the drive shafts.
4. Remove differential.
- A) Place a jack under the differential.
- b) Turn away bolts of fastening and remove differential. Tightening torque 127 Nm.
