Always follow safety regulations when handling refrigerant.
1. Do not work with refrigerant in an enclosed space or near an open flame.
2. Always wear safety glasses.
3. Be careful not to get refrigerant in your eyes or on your skin. On defeat:
A) Do not rub the burned area.
b) Rinse the burnt area with plenty of cold water and lubricate the skin with clean petroleum jelly.
V) Do not try to treat yourself, contact a medical facility immediately.
4. Before removing or checking electrical parts, turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" and disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
5. Do not heat or incinerate refrigerant cylinders.
6. Do not drop cylinders or subject them to shock.
7. Do not run the compressor without enough refrigerant. Lack of refrigerant leads to insufficient lubrication of the compressor, which can lead to compressor failure.
8. Do not open the high pressure valve on the gauge block while the compressor is running. If the high pressure valve is open, the direction of refrigerant flow will change, resulting in cylinder failure.
9. Do not overcharge the system. Excess coolant leads to insufficient cooling, excessive fuel consumption, engine overheating, and so on.
