Checking the main window switch [Toyota Carina T190]

1. Checking the operation. Check the conductivity according to the table "Checking the main window switch".



2. Checking the lock.

a) Check that it is in the "NORMAL" position (unlocked) there is conductivity between any of the terminals 1, 5, 6, 8, 2, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12.

b) Check that it is in the "LOCK" position (blocked) there is conductivity between any of the terminals 1, 5, 6, 8, 2, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12.

3. Checking the backlight. Connect (+) batteries to terminal "13" or "14", (-) to terminal "5" or "6", check that:

• - when the windows are locked, the driver's door window switch illumination works;
• - when the windows are unlocked, the backlight of the window switches on all doors works.
