The tachometer shows the engine speed (the corresponding number, multiplied by a thousand, corresponds to the current crankshaft revolutions per minute). Pay attention to the tachometer while driving to shift into the right gear in time and avoid driving at too high or low engine speeds.
Driving at too high a speed causes increased engine wear and excessive fuel consumption. Remember: the lower the engine speed, the greater the fuel economy.
The tachometer needle should not be in the red area. This can cause serious engine damage.
