The tachometer indicates the engine speed in thousands of revolutions per minute. Watch the tachometer reading when changing gears to avoid overloading the engine when the speed increases above the nominal.

Driving at high engine speeds leads to premature engine wear and increased fuel consumption. Remember that the lower the engine speed, the higher the fuel economy.

Warning! Do not drive when the tachometer needle is in the red zone. Otherwise, the engine will quickly fail.
