Removing
Disconnect ground cable (-) from the battery.
Attention: As a result, the records of the on-board computer are erased, in particular, the fault records and the radio code. Before disconnecting the battery, read the contents of the section "Removing and installing the battery".
Drain coolant.
Disconnect the upper and lower coolant hoses from the radiator by first opening and sliding the clamps back.
Disconnect the expansion tank hose from the radiator, after opening the clamp.
Remove expansion tank.
Disconnect the cable from the temperature sensor at the radiator.
Disconnect the upper radiator mounting bolt.
Tilt the radiator back and remove it together with the fan.
If this is not possible, then remove the fan first.
Warning: Radiator fins may have sharp edges. Therefore, it is recommended to use gloves when doing this.
Attention: If the radiator will be in a dismantled state for more than 48 hours, it must be washed with clean water, blown with compressed air and closed with plugs. The radiator can be stored filled with coolant and with the holes closed. Otherwise, corrosion may occur and, as a result, the system may be leaky.
Installation
If necessary, rearrange the temperature sensor and fan on a new radiator.
Check all coolant hoses for cracks, cuts or other damage.
If necessary, replace hoses. Check the condition of the radiator mounting rubber pads.
Install the radiator in place so that the radiator support pins hit the rubber pads of the lower holder.
Tilt the radiator forward, install the top radiator mount and secure it.
Fit upper and lower coolant hoses and secure with clamps.
Fit the expansion tank hose and secure with a clamp.
Attach the electrical wires to the temperature sensor and fan.
Install expansion tank.
Fill the system with coolant, see section "Maintenance".
Connect ground cable (-) with rechargeable battery.
Set the time on the clock, if any, and enter the security code into the radio.
Start engine and check hose connections and radiator for leaks.
Check coolant level. Top up coolant if necessary.
