Stop the engine and disconnect the electrical cable from the oil pressure sensor.
Assemble the electrical circuit using two type clamps "crocodile", wire 1.5 m long with a cross section of 1.5 mm2 (corresponding to diameter ~1.4 mm) and lamps with a 3.4 W cartridge. Connect the sensor through the auxiliary wire to the positive pole of the battery.
Check if the lamp is on when the engine is stopped.
Start the engine and check if the lamp starts flashing. The flashing frequency of the lamp must match the engine speed. If one of the two checks fails, the sensor must be replaced.
Connect the electrical cable to the oil pressure gauge.
