The specific implementation of the environmental protection system is determined by the make of the car and the territory of its sale, the pollution standards of which are controlled by the current legislation. The specific type of systems with the indication of the adjustment data and the layout of the vacuum hoses is indicated on the underhood plate.
The main systems include:
- post-oxidation system (AIR system);
- pulsating exhaust gas oxidation system (PAIR system);
- thermostatic control system (HAI system);
- catalytic converter (TWC);
- exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR system);
- gasoline vapor recovery system (EEC system);
- forced crankcase ventilation system (PCV system);
- ignition control system (SC system).
Auxiliary systems include:
