This subsection describes the types of repair of a 6-cylinder in-line 1FZ-FE engine without dismantling it from the vehicle.
The engine has been installed on cars since 1993. The engine is two-shaft, with overhead valves. Camshaft drive - from the chain. Each cylinder has 2 intake and exhaust valves. The left camshaft (in the direction of the car) controls the intake valves, and the right camshaft controls the exhaust valves.
All engines of this type are equipped with an electronic fuel injection system.
