Removal and installation



1. When removing and installing the steering pump, refer to the corresponding assembly drawing.

2. Tightening torques are shown in the figure.

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Note:
  • Adjust the tension of the pump drive belt (see chapter "Maintenance and general check and adjustment procedures").
  • Top up the power steering fluid.
  • Make sure there are no leaks of working fluid.

1 - pipeline No.1,
2 - pump drive belt,
3 - bolt,
4 - return hose,
5 - discharge pipeline,
6 - clamp,
7 - pipeline No.2.




Power steering pump (models from 05.2000.).
1 - bracket No.1,
2 - return pipeline,
3 - pump drive belt,
4 - power steering pump assembly with bracket No.2.
