Power steering pump (for cars with 4-cylinder engine)

Power steering pump (for cars with 6-cylinder engine)
1. Right front fender guard; 2. Fitting bolt; 3. Gasket; 4. Pressure tube; 5. Belt; 6. Vane power steering pump; 7. Liquid return hose
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Remove the fluid from the power steering reservoir by sucking it out with a bulb syringe or syringe.
3. Raise the front of the vehicle and remove the right front wheel.
4. Remove the front fender guard panel.
5. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the power steering pump.
6. Unscrew the union bolt and disconnect the tube from the power steering; the union copper seals must be replaced after disassembling this connection.
7. Loosen the pump pivot bolt and belt tensioner bolt, remove the drive belt.
8. Remove the axle bolt and belt tensioner bolt. Remove the pump.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Adjust the belt tension.
2. Fill the tank with liquid and remove air.
