Check on the car



1. Check the hub runout.
  • Maximum runout - 0.8 mm

2. Measure the bearing axial clearance.
  • Maximum gap - 0.2 mm

Removal



1. Jack up the car.

2. Remove the wheel.

3. Remove the brake drum.



4. Using a special tool and a press, remove the outer bearing.



Rear axle hub.
1 - bearing,
2 - bearing sleeve,
3 - brake drum assembly with hub,
4 - washer,
5 - nut,
6 - cotter pin,
7 - cover.




5. Using a special tool and a press, remove the inner bearing.





Installation



1. Apply grease to the areas shown in the figure.



2. Press in the new inner bearing.



3. Install the bearing sleeve as shown in the figure.



4. Using the special tool and press, install the new outer bearing.



5. Install the nut and lock it.
