1. Check the oil level. Make sure there are no oil leaks. If necessary, top up to the upper mark (F).

2. Check the oil for contamination, water, discoloration or dilution. If the oil is of poor quality, replace it.

3. Replace the oil filter using a special tool. After installation, tighten the new filter firmly by hand.

4. After starting the engine, check for oil leaks, and after stopping the engine, recheck the oil level.
