2. The throttle should be fully open when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed. If necessary, adjustment is made by turning the stop screw of the pedal or the adjusting screw of the accelerator cable.
3. The accelerator pump should inject fuel when the throttle is opened quickly.
4. The manual air damper must be fully closed when its control handle is fully extended and, conversely, fully open when the control handle is fully retracted.
5. Automatic air damper control systems must be adjusted (see below).
Prerequisites for making adjustments
A) Air filter installed.
b) The engine is warmed up to normal operating temperature.
V) The air damper is fully open.
G) All electrical consumers are off.
d) All vacuum hoses are connected.
e) The ignition timing has been adjusted.
and) The transmission control lever is in neutral (N) position.
h) The fuel level in the carburetor float chamber is normal.
And) Tachometer and vacuum gauge connected.
To) When using a gas analyzer, make sure that it is in good condition, warmed up, properly calibrated, and its scale is set to zero.
l) If there is a plug on the idle mixture adjustment screw, remove it.
m) With AS system (air bypass systems in the exhaust pipe in addition to the carburetor) it must be turned off by closing all its air ducts, disconnecting the vacuum hose from the vibration valve of the AS system and plugging the hose with a plug.
Except Europe.
For Europe.
n) If there is a feedback system, turn it off by disconnecting the vacuum hose passing between the pneumatic diode (VTV) and a vacuum switch and plugging it off on the side of the vacuum valve.
