2. Inspect the filter element for dirt, damage or oil stains.
3. If necessary, replace the filter element.
4. Clean the filter element in the following order:
A) blow the filter element from the inside with compressed air.
b) rinse the filter element in water.
V) repeat rinsing until the water is clear.
G) dry the filter element by shaking or blowing it with compressed air.
Note: Be careful not to hit or drop the filter element.
d) clean the inside surface of the filter housing.
