2. Make sure that there are no traces of oil in the coolant, and that there are no deposits of rust and scale in the cooling system.
3. Make sure:
- in the absence of wear or damage to the radiator and fluid hoses,
- hose clamps available
- in the absence of damage or corrosion of the radiator core,
- there are no fluid leaks from the pump, radiator core, or through a closed drain cock.
4. Check the radiator filler cap using a special radiator tester.
Pressure at which the steam filler plug valve should open:
- nominal - 0.75 - 1.05 kg/cm2 (0.075 - 0.105 MPa)
- minimum allowable - 0.60 kg / cm2 (0.060 MPa)
