Gear shift rod
1. Make sure the lever is in neutral position.
2. Adjust gear shift rod No.3.
Ensure that normal clearance is maintained between the instrument panel and the threaded end of the gear shift lever.
- Nominal clearance - 253 mm
Shift lever and control mechanism.
1 - Gear shift lever,
2 - Gear shift rod No.1,
3 - Gear shift shaft bracket,
4 - Gear selection rod No.2,
5 - Gear shift rod No.3,
6 - Gear selection rod No.3,
7 - Gear shift rod No.2,
8 - Gear shift lever cover,
9 - Gear shift shaft.
Gear selection rod
1. Remove the shift lever boot by unscrewing the four bolts.
2. Make sure the gear selector lever is in neutral position.
3. Adjust gear selection rod No.3.
Position the rod so that it lightly touches the return spring and bracket.
4. Install the shift lever boot.
